Dr. Tara Simmons Founder, All Abilities Fitness Center & Creator of The Inclusive Fitness Framework™ Dr. Tara Simmons is an educator, researcher, and leader in the field of inclusive fitness and adaptive movement. As the founder of All Abilities Fitness Center and creator of The Inclusive Fitness Framework™, Dr. Simmons has dedicated her career to breaking down barriers that prevent individuals with disabilities from fully participating in physical activity and wellness programs. With a PhD focused on inclusive fitness participation and years of hands-on experience teaching adaptive exercise in schools, universities, and community programs, Dr. Simmons blends academic insight with practical, real-world application. Her work extends beyond instruction to include consulting with schools, organizations, and professionals seeking to build more inclusive environments. Through this work, she supports staff, educators, and community leaders in developing the skills, mindset, and structures necessary to make inclusive fitness both practical and sustainable. Her programs are designed to empower professionals- from educators to therapists to fitness instructors- to create environments where every body can move, participate, and thrive.
